fund management Carinus Strydom ( Pty) Ltd. is registered as Fund mananager (reg.no. 6516) with the Financial Services Board (FSB) and complies with all the requirements laid down by Art. 4(1)(a) of the Stock Exchange Control Act (SECA) 1985, and Art.5(1)(a) of the Financial Markets Control Act (FMCA) 1989. Under the guidance of prof. Leon van Wyk, Carinus Strydom has managed various investment portfolios with great success since 2004. The share exposure of the two CS Fund of funds is regularly adjusted according to the successful Carinus Strydom model. This mathematical model uses a combination of the price-earnings ratio of the general JSE index and the yield of long term government bonds to determine the total share exposure of the two CS Funds of funds.
Unit Trusts
CS Flexible Fund of Funds
This fund is used primarily for capital growth. The mandate allows for an exposure to equities of 0-100%, as determined by the fund manager.
CS Prudential Fund of Funds
This fund is used primarlly for the provision of income. The fund complies with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act. All approved funds (pension monies) are invested in this fund. The mandate allows for an exposure to equities of 0-100%, as determined by the fund manager. Wrap Funds (Specialist funds)
